John Deere Country- Part 2- How a Tractor is Made

Are you curious to know how the world-class tractors of one of the most famous global companies are made? This DVD has the compilation of how the various models of John Deere's tractors are manufactured, step by step. The video includes pre-assembly, robotic paint installation, cab assembly, final assembly and testing stages followed in the manufacturing of the tractors, also showing the implementation of latest technologies, such as the 120-foot wide planter incorporated in the upcoming models. As a bonus, you may also find an archival footage of company’s functioning when it was established.

Our cameras were allowed in the John Deere Tractors Works in Waterloo, Iowa, for an exclusive look at how John Deere makes their 7000, 8000, and 9000 series tractors. We follow the manufacturing process starting with pre-assembly, then the new, multi-million dollar robotic paint installation, cab assembly, final assembly and testing. We show the tread being installed on a track tractor plus tractors working in the field using the latest technology and pulling the newest implements like John Deere's new 120-foot wide planter. Plus archival footage showing how John Deere factories operated in the 20s, 30s and 50s.

2 hours of great John Deere action.
